Our vision is to be a church that is 'making life-long, passionate followers of Christ'.

We aim to be as a family where people are accepted and supported; where we can find and then grow in our relationship with God.

We believe that God is passionate about us and that we were made to know Him and to enjoy knowing Him. It is only in finding God that we will know true peace in life, as Augustine said "You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in you".

We believe that God is not distant but actively involved in this world and in our lives; that he guides us and answers when we call on him in prayer. (If you would like us to pray for an issue for you, then contact us here).

If you would like to know more about us then either get in contact or drop in one sunday morning.

Our key biblical beliefs are:-

1. The Bible – [2 Tim. 3:16]
The whole Bible is the inspired word of God and is the sole authority for matters of faith, doctrine and life.

2. The Trinity –[Matt 3. 16-17 or Matt 28.19 or 2 Cor 13.14]
God exists in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are one God.

3. The Lordship of Jesus Christ [Col. 1.15-19]
Jesus Christ has all authority in heaven and on earth both in this age and the age to come.

4. The Power and presence of the Holy Spirit - [2 Cor 1.22]
The Holy Spirit is Gods active presence manifest in the world, especially in the Church.

5. Heaven and hell – [Matt 25.46]
The choices people make in this life will affect their eternal destiny, either eternal life with Christ or eternal separation from him.

6. The Gospel – [Rom 3.22-26]
All have sinned but on the cross Jesus bore our sin, was judged by God and died in our place. By faith in Jesus Christ we can receive forgiveness and enter into an eternal relationship with God.

7. Grace - [Titus 2 11-12]
The grace of God means that his love for you is complete, unchanging and unconditional.

8. Baptism in the Holy Spirit - [Eph 1 13]
The personal indwelling and baptising of the Holy Spirit are distinct experiences intended for every Christian.

9. Water baptism - [Rom 6 3-5]
In accordance with the command and example of Christ, believer’s baptism is a natural part of being a Christian.

10. Sanctification - [2 Cor 3.18]
Through the renewing of our hearts and minds, God is changing us into the likeness of Christ Jesus.

11. Communion - [1Cor 11 23-26]
The sharing of bread and wine by the church community as part of the Lord’s Supper is in remembrance of the death of Jesus.

12. The Church - [Eph.1 22-23]
The local church is a community of people that worship God in Spirit and truth and obey His commands as an expression of their love

13. The second coming - [1 Thes 4 16-17]
Jesus Christ will return in power and glory to be with His church.
