Church Life

The biblical picture of Christian church doesn’t begin and end with Sunday meetings. In the book of Acts, we get a picture of a dynamic, spirit-filled group of people who loved Jesus and were involved with one another’s lives day in day out.

As well as the limited list of ‘organised’ activities listed below, you will find that we spend a lot of time together doing different things during the week. Whether that’s meeting for coffee, praying together, sharing meals, going to the cinema and even music gigs. Church life looks like family life.

Small groups

One of the primary ways we meet together during the week is in our Small Groups. We love them so much, we gave them a dedicated page on the website:

Coffee morning

Every Tuesday at 10:00am-12:00pm during term time, the women in the church meet for tea and coffee. The venue changes weekly, so be sure to check the calendar for this week’s location.

Praying Hands
Prayer Meetings

We meet every Thursday at 9:30am – 10:30am at the Shakespeare Centre, Kendal, for our prayer meeting. We worship together and pray for the things that God puts on our heart.

Men's film night

We have a regular schedule of ‘Men’s Nights’, which often involve curry and/or a movie.
